I would have had no success trying to obtain compensation from our cancelled flight. Flight delay made the whole process extremely quick and simple to understand. After listing the flight details and giving all the relevant information and documents that I had they took the whole process forward resulting in actually having to take the case to court as Emirates fought them all the way. Success! We had a long chain of emails with non-EU airline regarding a delay on second leg of a journey starting in EU. Discussing with them was useless, even when we had send them similar case law examples. This was a bit stressful, and we got the feeling they were having us for fools.
